Connected Objects
Summer 2020
I partnered with a classmate, Grace Lee, on this project, which had the purpose of creating a conceptually or literally connected object. I came up with the idea of connecting a cloud to human legs because although they seem completely random, they both can be associated with “height”, and while one travels land, the other travels the sky. The shape of the cloud was modeled by my partner, and I modeled the legs and created the foggy texture around the cloud model, along with the environment. I chose the environment to match the abstract, almost ethereal concept of the model.
